Someday winter will end
Lately: went to Vegas for a wedding. Bought a motorcycle. Waiting for the snow to end. I mean, it is almost the end of April. Can we be finished with winter now?
Work is fine. I had another appeal brief result in all claims allowed. The PTO Examiner just allowed all the claims without letting the appeal get to the board. That works too.
Vegas was expensive. I had screwed up my flights, which required a 200 dollar change fee. Add in some hotel, food, booze, and a wedding present, and I could have gone to Mexico. Of course, I'd probably be sick then.
I don't see any crazy mortality figures with this new H1N1 swine flu virus running around. I mean, 500,000+ people already croak from influenza each year. How is this any different? It's not like it's any more or less fatal than the regular flu. I guess we'll find out.
Theoretically it's spring, so it's time for the dogs to shed like crazy. This results in some amount of vacuuming. That, and crazy brushing. That is the not so fun part about having a pet.
I'm enjoying work. I do love a good written argument.
There is something not quite right with the rebuilt carb I put on the truck last week. I think the idle circuit is screwed up. I'll have to figure out what my exchange/replacement options are with checker.
Not much to tell other than that. Hopefully tomorrow I can get a decent workout in. It's supposed to be nice out, so I'll probably ride in.
