Alive

Alive I say...after a week in Montana with the relatives for some kind of family vacation.

I napped a lot, and got through about 700 pages of 'Atlas Shrugged'. Today was spent working on the yard (pulling weeds, mowing, cleaning rock trim, blah blah blah).

Tomorrow it's back to work...whoo!!!

Theme dinner party -- Grilled cheese

We braved the heat (air conditioner on the blink) and the toe licking dog to go back to the basics -- grilled cheese sandwiches. Hal was nice enough to bring a block of velveeta (ah the memories....) plus a couple gallons of ice cream.

The post party blabbing went on till midnight, and included a mini fashion show by Melissa.

Worked out, worked, bought a new mower, mowed the back yard, seeded and fertilized the front and back, power washed the truck engine, changed the spark plugs, power washed the front of the house and the driveway.

Trimmed some bushes.
