It's been cold all week -- a change from the 80+ and shorts thing from the weekend. Work is so-so...I'm almost finished porting some software to a new compiler. It's a pain in the ass, becuase a) the code is a mess b) the original compiler is a piece of shit.

Ok, it's friday...another friday not quite unlike a long line of fridays leading to....the weekend?

Anyway, Last night I was out for my birthday at dinner with friends, which basically means hot girls, chocolate, and birthday presents. I can't complain about that.

Today just the work thing...then a house party at G's place which sounds like it will be fun. I'm planning on sleeping on the couch for this one.

I got up late this morning, screwed around on the computer, put my gym clothes on, went to starbucks, and came home. I guess I'll have to get some weight lifting in tomorrow.

It's been like that a lot lately. I'd guess it's because I actually have to be to work at a reasonable time -- no more sleeping in and working out until 10am or taking a nap on the couch during the day....now I need to nap at my desk.

I have another party saturday night, some kite flying thing on sunday, and in between I need to work on some patent stuff. I'm working on a PTO office action and also I need to review a patent Bret wrote last weekend on a submission we were working on. Next week I think I'll spend 2-3 days down at the law office doing some other patent work... it's been interesting.

The sprinkler is finally fixed, but the grass isn't happy -- not exactly green, you know.

Everything else seems to be fine. The house needs some cleaning, and I haven't been home much to accomplish that. Thomas has been at Robin's place since last weekend's hut trip, so I need to get him back soon...I miss the furry little fart.

Winter appears to be over and it's actually starting to feel like spring. I guess that is ok.

Is busy, as usual. Yesterday, spent some time with Javon, who is moving to Reno today. Today and tomorrow, off to boulder to do some patent work, Thursday dinner with friends, Friday house party, Saturday pizza and a movie, Sunday Kites in the park.

I'm tired just thinking about it.
