Sonia carefully marked each cheese with a little piece of paper and a toothpick...so that we all could avoid something scary called 'spanish cow' brought by Michael. Truly the most revolting cheese ever seen in public, 'spanish cow' is something once tasted you'll never forget. Imagine a block of blue cheese hidden in a floor heating vent for 6 months in the dead of winter, baked to perfection and ravaged by fuzzy mold, and you get the idea.
Although we scoured the world over for the best cheeses we could find, both Jen and Irene eagerly proclaimed that the humble can of easy-cheese was by far the best and most exciting thing of the night.
Even better -- no refrigeration required, and an expiration date of 2012.
